“You are enough.”

It’s a simple statement, but it has the power to change your life. When you embrace your strengths and weaknesses, you become more confident and unique. You learn to appreciate what makes you special. And that is a beautiful thing.

Not sure what your strengths are or what makes you amazing? Ask yourself some questions:

  • Do you speak additional languages?
  • Are you good at problem solving?
  • Do you get along well with people?
  • Are you a positive person?

Write them down and remind yourself of them every day. When you focus on your positive qualities, you’ll start to see the world in a different light. You’ll feel more courageous and capable of making an impact.

If you’re visual, close your eyes and imagine yourself in the future. You’re the best possible you. How are you? What kind of relationships do you have with people? Visualizing like this can help you better understand and use your strengths.

Yes, we all have weaknesses. But that’s okay! We can’t be good at everything. It’s important to accept our limitations and work on improving ourselves. However, don’t dwell on your shortcomings too much. Remember that everyone has flaws and nobody is perfect. Someone else’s strengths could complement your flaws, and vice versa. I used to work summers in my dad’s office, helping out with the accounting – and I was terrible at it. When I brought up how I felt about not being good (or great) at it, my dad said something that stayed with me: “It’s okay that you’re not good at it. There are other people in the world who are and they’ll help you – I just wanted you to know how to do it.”

By knowing our strengths, we can bring our best selves to every situation and make an impact. So don’t be afraid to embrace your strength and weaknesses! They make you who you are. And remember, “You are enough.” Just the way you are.
